Tim Keller, pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in NYC, is one of the most effective and gracious communicators of the Christian message that I know of -- Justin Taylor links to his interview by Sally Quinn.
I highly recommend his book, "The Reason for God."

I agree I just finished the book a few weeks ago. It was practical, insightful, and challenging. Asking questions and communicating truth in a real and relavent way.
